I originally called the blog 'From Mum To Me', so the web address is actually www.frommumtome.blogspot.com. It was significant at the time, but I have come to realise that a better name for my blog is Relentless.
Parenting is relentless.
It never stops. Kids never stop. You never stop worrying. You never stop laughing.
You never stop moving from one job to the next: wiping noses, wiping bottoms, wiping tears; washing clothes; making beds; refereeing fights; making birthday cakes; supervising homework; doing the school run; making lunches; figuring out new ways of disguising vegetables; watching 'concerts'; hiding in the loo; doing pigtails; answering questions... .
I wouldn't change it for the world, but it's nice to have a break every now and then.
